Expo's first day witnesses orders of Rs one crore

The first day of Kerala's 'Machinery Expo 2016', witnessed orders worth Rs one crore.
According to the data from the Department of Industries and Commerce, organising the Expo, around 2000 entrepreneurs visited the ongoing exhibition at Adlux Convention Centre, Angamaly, today.
"More than 1000 enquiries have been received. The response from the business community is overwhelming on the first day. We have seen genuine customers interacting with the exhibitors, from across the nation, who are displaying an array of machines," said P M Francis IAS, Director, Department of Industries and Commerce.
The exhibition will continue till Saturday.
