Fadnavis chairs review meeting over DBT payments

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today chaired a review meeting over direct benefit transfer (DBT) payments through Aadhar-linked accounts to beneficiaries.

Fadnavis also reviewed the progress of installation of POS (point of sale) at all 51,000 fair price shops by March 2017 and making its stocks transactions online, a statement from Chief Minister's Office said.

As announced earlier by the CM, officials informed that they are trying to make at least 50 per cent districts in the state kerosene-free within the next few months.

State Ministers Vinod Tawde, Rajkumar Badole, Ravindra Chavan, Chief Secretary Swadheen Kshatriya and officials from various departments were present for this meeting.
