Fake currency racket busted, three held

The police claimed to have busted a fake currency racket with the arrest of a liquor salesman and two others, who allegedly used to circulate fake notes by passing it to the customers.

Mukesh Jaiswal was arrested from Govind Nagar yesterday and based on his inputs, two of his accomplices were nabbed by police, SSP Yashaswi Yadav said.

An advanced scanner-printer machine along with fake notes of the face value of Rs 42,410 were seized from them, he said.

Mukesh was arrested after two of his customers alleged they were handed fake notes at the liquor store.
