False ceiling caves in at Chennai International air terminus

Passengers at the international air terminus here today had a narrow escape when a portion of the false ceiling in the departure area came crashing down this evening, airport sources said.

This is the second time in over a week when the false ceiling has caved in at the airport.

No one was injured in the incident that took place at around 7 PM, they said.

On August 11, a false ceiling caved in at the domestic air terminus.
