Fans of Oscar-winning actor Nicholas Cage have signed a petition, demanding the star's return to the popular TV sketch comedy 'Saturday Night Live' as a host.
While Cage, 51, made a 'Weekend Update' cameo in 2012, he has not hosted since 1992, reported People magazine.
Christropher Issacson, a huge follower of Cage, created the petition. "Nicolas Cage is the most accomplished Renaissance man the solar system has ever witnessed," he said.
"For him to not host Saturday Night Live for the first time in over 20 years would be a crime against humanity. So far, 269 people have signed the petition.
