Farmer commits suicide, kin blame it on debts

Saddled with debts, a 45-year-old farmer today allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Mudahusa village, police said.

Jhinku Kumar this afternoon hanged himself from a tree, police said, adding the farmer was suffering from depression.

The farmer's family members said that Kumar committed suicide as he failed to repay heavy loans he had taken.

Police is probing the matter.
