A 53-year-old local farmer was arrested today for allegedly raping his 15-year-old step daughter, police said.
The teenager was repeatedly raped between April 2016 and January 14, and is four-month pregnant now.
Tarapur police station Assistant Inspector GW Bhangar said the accused, whose name has been withheld, has been booked under various sections of IPC for rape and criminal intimidation and under POSCO Act.
Police said the accused would threaten the girl to drive out of house and kill her if she resisted his advances.
