Farmer kills self over debt

A farmer committed suicide in Ghansoorpur village here as he was allegedly under depression due to an outstanding loan, the police said today.

Madan Pal (55) consumed poison last night, they said.

Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Syana Sanjay Pandey said, "The Syana police is investigating if the farmer had any private loan.
