A 40-year-old farmer was murdered while he was asleep at his house in Shamli district, police said today.
The victim Jitender Singh was found dead at his residence yesterday, they said, adding that the body has been sent for postmortem.
Efforts are on to arrest the culprits, police said.
In another incident, the body of a 50-year-old man was found near an ashram at Bhokahedi village here yesterday, they said.
The victim has not been identified, police said, adding the body has been sent for postmortem.
