Farmer shot at over land dispute

A farmer was injured after being shot at by his cousin over a property dispute at Gogna village in Shamli district, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when Yogender Kumar (40) and his cousin Vishal confronted each other over a boundary dispute, SP Ajay Pal Sharma said.

In a fit of rage, Vishal shot at Yogendra, he said.

"The injured has been shifted to a hospital," police added.
