Fashion designing student commits suicide

The police said a suicide note was recovered from the victim on the basis of which the incident was appeared to be of love affair.

The victim, identified as Nitin Srivastava, a native of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his rented room by his friends who live in adjacent rooms in the same building.

According to police, the matter came to light at around 7.40 PM after a call was received by the police control room.

"A police team reached the spot and rushed the victim to Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital where doctors pronounced Srivastava dead on arrival. The body has been preserved in the mortuary and the family members of the victim has been informed about," said the police adding Srivastava was pursuing fashion designing course from a private institute in Naraina.
