'Fast and Furious 7' set for 2014 release

The seventh installment of action film series 'Fast & Furious' is set to be released on July 11 next year.

Actor Vin Diesel announced the news and said there is also a scope for more two or three movies down the road, reported Contactmusic.

"The next one is probably going to be the biggest one of them all," he said.

With the release date, the James Wan directed action-packed film will now compete with Marvel's 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'.

Diesel, 45, who is also the producer of the action franchise, is currently promoting "Fast and Furious 6" alongwith his co-star Paul Walker.
 

"Fast and Furious 6" will hit theatres on May 24.
