He died at around 4 AM in AIIMS, Delhi and will be buried at his native place Khurja Nagar this evening, they said.
Iqbal Mohmmad Khan has worked in various capacities including Dean of faculty at Chaudhary Charan Singh University and District Government Council in state revenue department.
He had also written books on the subject of law.
All district courts and markets in Khurja Nagar would remain closed today to show solidarity with the family.
