Father-son duo convicted for murder

A court today convicted three persons, including a father-son duo, in a murder case that took place in Kashmir's Shopian district in 2007.

The Sessions court in Shopian convicted Rashid Wani, his son Sajad Ahmad Wani and Rafiq Takad for murdering Yaseen Wani, a resident of Heerpora in Shopian, a police spokesman said.

The quantum of sentence will be announced next week.
