Father, son get life term for killing man

A fast track court has sentenced a father-son duo to life imprisonment for killing a man during a 2012 clash at Bagowali village here.

Judge Ashok Kumar held Amiruddin and his son Shamim guilty under Section 302 (murder) of the IPC, government lawyer Anod Balyan said.

A fine of Rs 1,400 was also slapped on each of them by the court, he said.

One person was shot dead in a clash at the village on April 11, 2012, the lawyer said.
