Father, two sons killed in road mishap

A man and his two minor sons were killed when a truck ran them over in Gopiganj area here, police said today.

The incident took place last evening, when Pramod Vishwakarma (38) was travelling on a bike with his sons Hariom (8) and Lucky (5).

He lost control of the bike and the three fell on the road, following which a truck ran them over, killing them on the spot, they said.

The truck driver managed to flee from the scene with the vehicle.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem, they said, adding, further probe is on.
