FDA seals illegal tobacco factory in south Mumbai

The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today sealed an illegal tobacco manufacturing factory in Null Bazar area in south Mumbai.

FDA teams also took action against 81 shops selling banned tobacco items such as gutka, pan masala and aromatic tobacco, and seized stock worth Rs 15 lakh, a government release stated.

These shops were located in Null Bazar, Dongri, Dharavi, Sakinaka, Chembur and Kurla.
