Female nursing student found dead in hostel room

Amandeep Kaur (20), studying in the Anand Nursing College of Amritsar, was found tied to the ceiling fan with her 'dupatta'.

Police said the student was from Jharkhand where her parents have been informed.

The autopsy of the girl would be conducted after the arrival of parents in the city.
