: Madras High court today directed Additional Director General of Police, CB-CID wing, to file a report on a missing one day old child from Madurai Government Rajaji Hospital on June 15,2013.
When the case came up for hearing before the bench, comprising Justices S Manikumar and C T Selvam, CB-CID Police submitted they had formed five special teams which were looking at adoption centres for clues on lifting of the baby.
They had paid an interim solatium of Rs one lakh to the mother of child Meenakshi.

Another woman Mareerswari, whose baby was also stolen earlier, had been given Rs three lakh, CB-CID said.
The judges then posted the case for hearing to March 24.
