JMM supremo Shibu Soren today said the party was ready for the Lok Sabha elections and a final dialogue over seat adjustment with ruling ally Congress in Jharkhand would take place.

"We will sit together and discuss on it," Soren said when asked on seat-sharing with Congress for the next general elections.

"The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is ready for the Lok Sabha elections," he said.

Asked what role he would play, the former Chief Minister said it depended on a given situation.

Soren's son, Hemant, is heading the UPA alliance in the state.

In the run up to the formation of the government in July the alliance leaders had said there had been an agreement between JMM and Congress that the latter would contest 10 out of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in the next general elections.
