Finolex Industries today reported a 69.54 per cent jump in standalone net profit at Rs 71.94 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2016.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 42.43 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
Its total income from operations during the quarter under review went up by 5.97 per cent to Rs 662.43 crore as against Rs 625.08 crore in the same period a year ago, the company said in a BSE filing.

However, the firm's overall expenses fell 1.26 per cent to Rs 546.75 crore from Rs 553.75 crore in the year-ago period.
Finolex Industries is into manufacturing of PVC-U pipes and fittings.
