FIR lodged against private firm

A FIR has been lodged against a private firm after the district mining department officials recovered over 1000 metric tonne of iron-ore from Badajamda in West Singhbhum district.

Acting on a tip-off, the Mining department officials conducted raid and recovered the mineral illegally stored, police said.

A FIR has been lodged against one Sudhir Kumar Sao, a partner in the firm, in this connection, police added.
