Fire at a multi-storey office building

A fire today broke out at the fifth floor of a multi-storey office building on Jawaharlal Nehru Road in south Kolkata.

Fire brigade and police officers said that ten fire tenders have already rushed to the spot to fight the blaze.

There was no news of any person being trapped inside.

There has been no injury or casualty. The cause of fire or extent of damage are yet to be ascertained, officials said.
