A major fire broke out in a plastic godown at Beliaghata area in the eastern part of the city this evening.
There was no report of any injury or casualty.
It took 20 fire tenders over two hours to bring the blaze under control, Fire Brigade sources said.

The fire that was spotted at 7 PM was brought under control at around 9.15 PM.
Traffic on the arterial Beliaghta Main Road, on which the godown is located, has been closed to ensure safety of people, police said.
The cause of the fire or the extent of damaged was yet to be ascertained.
