Fire in Dhansiri petro chemical complex

A fire has been detected in the chimney of the Dhansiri petro chemical complex following which production was shut down today.

East Midnapore Superintendent of Police S Jain said fire was detected in the early hours following which production was shut down.

There are no reports of any damage and fire tenders have rushed to the spot. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
