In a freak mishap, a 40-year old fisherman died after a live fish which he had netted leaped into his mouth, choking him fatally.
Gandhi was sorting the fish he had netted at Atrangarai Village when one of the live fish, which was battling for life, jumped into his mouth and got stuck in his trachea (windpipe in the respiratory system), police said.
He suffered asphyxiation and died on the spot, they added.
