Five arrested for running IPL betting racket
Five persons were arrested for allegedly running a betting racket on Indian Premier League matches in the Samrat Chowk area here, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, police yesterday raided a house in Sector-31 and arrested the accused, SSP Nitin Tiwari said.
Betting chits and Rs 9,370 in cash were recovered from them, he added.
