Five die in accident

Five persons were killed and

eight others injured today when a car in which they were travelling collided with a speeding truck at Malda.

Three men died on the spot on the Malda-Nalagola state highway at about nine am and the two others succumbed to their injuries later, the police said.

The condition of four other injured people is critical and they have been rushed to Malda Medical College and Hospital along with other injured persons.
