Five die in separate road mishaps in UP

Two couples and another person were killed in separate road accidents in the district today.

In the first incident, a 40-year-old man, Nanhe and his wife, Anita Devi, were killed when the car carrying them rammed into a mud-laden tractor-trolley in Bhamaura police station area, police said.

Three other occupants of the car were injured, police said adding that the family had come from Badaun.

In the other accident, Brijpal Singh (35) and his wife Kunti Devi (30) were seriously injured in a motorcycle-truck collision near Semikhea petrol pump in Bahedi police station area last night.

Both were admitted to SRMS Medical College hospital where they succumbed to injuries today, police said.
 

In a separate mishap, one Veerpal Singh (25) was hit by an unidentified vehicle in Fatehganj purvi area, police said adding that he succumbed to injuries today.
