A court here today sentenced five persons to life imprisonment for murdering a lady doctor in 2012.
Mahila Court judge Flora also awarded 10 year rigorous imprisonment to them for the separate charge of conspiracy, which would run concurrently besides slapping a fine of Rs 5,000 each.
According to prosecution, Mahesh, enraged over the death his wife Nithya during delivery, conspired with four others and murdered Dr Sethulakshmi on January 2, 2012.
The judge said the prosecution had proved the case by cogently presenting material evidences and eye witness to prove the case.
