Five killed as jeep overturns

Five persons, including two women, were today killed and 17 injured when the jeep in which they were travelling overturned near Hunasakatte on the national highway near here, police said.

The injured have been hospitalised, police said.

The vehicle was proceeding to Ballari from Nittur village in the district, they said.
