Five persons including a woman were today killed and eight others injured when the pickup vehicle they were travelling in collided with a Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus here.
The vehicle collided with the bus near Khinmani village, killing Rajesh Kumar (27), Subhash (19), Vishram Singh (17) Sarla Devi(32) and an unidentified person, ASP Ram Bhuvan Chaurasiya said.
The eight injured in the accident have been rushed to the nearby hospital, the ASP said.
Meanwhile the bodies have been sent for post mortem, Chaurasiya added.
