Five killed as van collides with pickup truck in Rajasthan

Five people were today killed and two injured when a van carrying them collided head on with a pickup jeep in Jalore district of Rajasthan.

The incident took place near Siwana area when the van was coming from Barmer district collided with the pickup jeep.

A roadways bus and another pickup vehicle which were coming behind the van also hit them but no passenger of these two vehicles was injured, circle officer Sanchor Ganesha Ram said.

Three persons died on the spot and two succumbed to their injuries in the hospital, they said, adding two injured are being treated.
