Five killed in two road mishaps

Five persons, including three women labourers working at MNREGA, were today killed and eight others injured in two separate mishaps in Sirohi district, police said.

They said three labourers of MNREGA taking their mid-day meal were mowed down by a luxury four wheeler at Barli-Hanumanji area under Kalindri police station.

They were identified as Pangu Devi, Shanti Devi and Maisee Devi.

In another mishap, a man and his son were crushed to death and eight others injured when two 4-wheelers collided headon about five km away from Sirohi district headquarters, the police said.
