Five Maoists have been arrested including a self styled 'area commander' of the proscribed CPI(Maoist) here, police said today.
Police raided different locations after getting a tip off and arrested the five Maoists including their 'area commander' of Jehanabad North Sub-Zone Ravindra Yadav, yesterday, SP Ansuia Ransingh Sahu said.
Two country-made pistols, nine ammunition and three mobile phones were seized from the Maoists, Sahu said, adding that all five ultras used to collect levy from contractors in Jehanabad, Arwal and Patna districts.
