Five militants arrested in Manipur

Five militants of the People' Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) were arrested along with arms during separate search operations in Manipur, police said today.

Assam Rifles Personnel and police commandos separately launched search operations in Imphal East, Imphal West and Thoubal districts during which the militants were caught yesterday

One 9mm pistol, one .38 pistol and several rounds of ammunition were recovered from their possession, police said.
