Five persons of a family were killed and four others injured in a clash between members of two tribal families over land dispute at Thapapalli in Bolangir district today, police said.
Ramesh Thappa and his four sons were killed in the clash in which sticks and sharp weapons were used. Four others belonging to Majhi Thappa's family were injured and they were undergoing treatment at a hospital.
Senior police officials rushed to the spot and investigation was in progress.
