Five sentenced to life imprisonment for murder

A district court today sentenced five persons to life imprisonment in a four-year-old murder case.

Additional District and Session Judge, Vijay Kumar Sinha pronounced the order after convicting Leeladhar Choudhury, Santosh Chaudhury, Arvind Jha, Puran Sangahi and Santosh Sangahi for murder of Vikash Chaudhury on June 13, 2009 at Naugachhia district police.

The court also slapped a penalty of Rs 2000 each on the five, who were found guilty of killing Vikash Chaudhury.

A case was lodged in Beehpur police station in this regard.
