Five villages in Thane district boycott polling

Five villages in the Thane district boycotted the polls today, official sources said.

Locals of Thoranda in Vikramgadh tehsil, and Shirgaon, Chikle, Shindgaon, Anandgaon and Padyachiwadi in Murbad boycotted the polls, mostly to protest lack of amenities.
