Five-year-old girl raped

A five-year-old girl was raped by a man in neighbouring Seraikela-Kharswan district today, police said here today.

40-year-old Randhir Ojha, a father of two daughters, lured the child and raped her at Transport Colony, SP Indrajit Mahatha said.

On hearing the girl's cries, her mother caught hold of the man. Soon a crowd gathered and beat up the man before handing him over to police, he said.
