Flag Officer Southern Naval Command visits INA

Vice Admiral Girish Luthra, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, Kochi, arrivedtoday at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) at nearby Ezhimala on a three-day official visit. On his arrival, Vice Admiral Luthra was received by Rear Admiral M D Suresh, officiating Commandant and he was formally briefed on major training and administrative issues at the INA, a release said today.

The Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief is accompanied by his wife and personal staff.

Vice Admiral Luthra will be inaugurating an environmental park and training area named "The Voyage" during his visit, the release said.
