'Everlong' hitmakers Foo Fighters will perform in South Africa for the first time in their 20 year long career.
The band will play in Capetown and Johannesburg in December, reported Contactmusic.
Frontman Dave Grohl uploaded a video on Twitter, sharing the news with the fans.

"Hey South Africa, my name's Dave. I play in a band called the Foo Fighters. We've never met, so we're coming down to see you in December. Got a new record to pay for you too," he said.
The band's eighth album Lanterns is due to release later this year.
