Former Karna MLA summoned by AP police in life threat case

Andhra Pradesh Police today issued notice to Karnataka Milk Federation Chairman and former MLA G Somashekara Reddy, for questioning in a case relating to an alleged threat held out by him to Kadapa MLA Ramachandraiah's brother.

According to police sources, Reddy is alleged to have issued a life threat to Shivakumar over a phone call, three days ago.

Following a complaint lodged by Shivakumar at a police station in Kadapa, Andhra Police arrived at Bellary to issue notice to Reddy asking him to join the inquiry.

Police said as Reddy was not available at his residence, the notice had been handed over to his personal assistant.
 

Reddy has been instructed to join the inquiry within three days.
