Former MLA returns to BJP

Former BJP MLA Shailendra Singh

Rawat and party leader Mohan Pal, who were expelled for anti-party activities during 2012 Assembly polls, today returned to the party fold.

Announcing this at a press conference here, Pradesh BJP chief Tirath Singh Rawat said their re-induction will strengthen the party ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.

Shailendra Singh Rawat was a BJP MLA from Kotdwar, while Pal was the party's SC Morcha Treasurer.
