Former MP arrested

Former Ambala MP and ex-BSP Haryana president Aman Kumar Nagra was arrested today in connection with a 2000 highway blockade case, officials said. Kumar had led a blockade at Sahazadpur on May 15, 2000 along with his supporters and a case was registered under various sections of the IPC against him. The court had declared him a proclaimed offender in 2001. He surrenderd himself before police in Sahazadpur today and was arrested, officials said.
