Former MP hurt in road mishap
Former Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar was today injured in a road accident in Rajanna Sircilla district of Telangana, police said.
Prabhakar was returning in a car after having a 'darshan' of Lord Raja Rajeshwara Swamy in Vemulawada when the vehicle overturned around 4.30 AM.
The mishap occured on the outskirts of Sankepalli village, 20 kms from here injuring the ex-MP and five others travelling with him.
They were immediately shifted to a private hospital here, police said adding further probe is underway.
