Former People's Conference leader joins NC

Former People's Conference leader Junaid Azim Matoo today joined the ruling National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir.

Matoo joined NC in presence of senior party leaders Mustafa Kamal and Nasir Aslam Wani, a spokesperson of the party said.

Matoo was chief spokesperson of People's Conference headed by Sajad Gani Lone, son of slain Hurriyat Conference leader Abdul Gani Lone.

He quit the party earlier this year.
