Former TN DGP joins AIADMK

Former Tamil Nadu DGP and Chennai City Police Commissioner R Nataraj today joined ruling AIADMK.

Nataraj called on AIADMK General Secretary and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa at her residence and joined the party by receiving the primary membership, a party statement said.

Natraj, a 1975 batch IPS officer, had served the State and Central governments.

He also served as the DGP in-charge, Prisons and Fire and Rescue Services.
