Former Welfare Board Chairman arrested in Raj

Former chairman of Nomadic Tribes Welfare Board, Gopal Kesawat, was arrested for allegedly creating nuisance in Sodala area here, police said today.

The former chairman of Rajasthan State De-Notified Nomadic and Semi Nomadic Tribes Welfare Board was quarrelling with his neighbours, police said.

Following complaints from locals, a police team reached the spot and arrested him last night, Station House Officer of Sodala police station, Sunil Prasad said today.

Kesawat was the chairman of the board during the previous government.
