Emphasising the need for preservation of fossils of trees in Mandro in Sahebgunj district, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuvar Das today said a Fossil Park would be established.
The Fossil Park will be first of its kind in the country, Das said while addressing a press conference here.
The chief minister also stressed the need for tree plantation to preserve environment in the mineral-rich Jharkhand.
We will observe a World Environment Day on June 5, he said announcing that plantation of sapling will continue in the state for next one month from that day.
Besides, the state government will also observe Wold Yoga day on June 21, Das added.
